Time zone converter online11/24/2023 Customer-hosted instances may be in a different system time zone. For Looker-hosted instances, the system time zone is always set to UTC. The system time zone is not configurable through the Looker application. Looker's internal database, which stores the information available in the i_looker and System Activity Explores, stores time-based data in the system time zone. The system time zone is the time zone for which the server running Looker is configured. Several settings within Looker specify how to convert time-based data: This also means that queries run using SQL Runner do not convert time-based data. The underlying data is not affected rather, the query results are converted using Looker's time zone settings. Looker converts time-based data when it generates SQL during a query for a Look, an Explore, or a dashboard. For example, a user in New York viewing data created in California doesn't have to manually subtract three hours to filter or interpret their queries. Users can see query results and create filters with time-based data that is converted to their local time zones. Looker can make time-based data easier to understand by converting it to different time zones. Blue indigo snake boots11/23/2023 Conservation status īecause of habitat loss, the eastern indigo snake is listed as a federally threatened species in Georgia and Florida. A related species, the Texas indigo snake (Drymarchon melanurus erebennus), is found in southern Texas and Mexico. Their historic range extended into Louisiana. The eastern indigo snake inhabits areas from far southwestern South Carolina through Florida, and west to southern Alabama and southeastern Mississippi. Although the eastern indigo snake is similar in average body mass, extremely large specimens of the bulky, sympatric venomous eastern diamondback rattlesnake can outweigh it. Specimens over 2.6 m (8.5 ft) can weigh up to 5 kg (11 lb). This is thought to be due to intraspecies competition and combat with the males. Unlike many snakes, mature male indigo snakes are slightly larger than females. The longest recorded specimen measured 2.8 m (9.2 ft) in total length (including tail). This smooth-scaled snake is considered to be the longest native snake species in the United States. This snake received its common name from the glossy iridescent dorsal and ventral scales which can be seen as blackish-purple in bright light. The eastern indigo snake has uniform blue-black dorsal scales, with some specimens having a reddish-orange to tan color on the throat, cheeks, and chin. The eastern indigo snake has a number of common names including indigo snake, blue indigo snake, black snake, blue gopher snake, and blue bull snake. Couper brought Holbrook the type specimen from south of the Altamaha River in Wayne County, Georgia. The specific name is a latinization of the surname of American planter James Hamilton Couper (1794-1866). It is composed of the Greek words drymos (Δρυμός), meaning "forest", and archon (ἄρχων), meaning "lord" or "ruler". The generic name, Drymarchon, roughly translates to "lord of the forest". For many years the genus Drymarchon was considered monotypic with one species, Drymarchon corais, with 12 subspecies, until the early 1990s when Drymarchon corais couperi was elevated to full species status according to the Society for the Study of Amphibians and Reptiles, in their official names list. The eastern indigo snake was first described by John Edwards Holbrook in 1842. Eastern indigo Taxonomy and etymology Taxonomy Native to the southeastern United States, it is the longest native snake species in the country. It does not store any personal data. The eastern indigo snake ( Drymarchon couperi) is a species of large, non- venomous snake in the family Colubridae. 2k zen meaning11/23/2023 Starting with the hotel location, not in the most salubrious of streets, but dont let that put you off. Having stayed here it ticked all the boxes for many reasons, hence a fairly lengthy review. Did a bit of research, and despite some negatives on here, decided to go with Zen. Planned a trip to Athens and wanted to stay near the beach, but within easy reach of central Athens and its attractions. The main road is noisy and so are the other residents at the weekends (4 poster, mirrors,TV etc). The main road is a threelane motorway! & is very busy and dangerous so wait for the green crossing lights please.they will not stop for you till they see the red. You can`t knock it for its location for the tram and buses, just across the road at Zephoros tram stop. The 2 russian ladies were charming and helpful. There is a tiny seating area and a bar, but due to the hostile Manager, and the lack of any activity there we spent elsewhere always. So I went to the coffee shop up the road and bought one there with my 2K spending money. I asked for another coffee but all she could say was you must pay. If the manager is on, Lillia the ginger one, you get tap water, cold coffee one milk between two no biscuits, miserable and tight as a fishes a(*(&*. Breakfast consisted of Cheese and ham toastie, small bottle of water, small juice drink and a celophane wrapped croissant. Room was cleaned daily, fresh towels sheets and paper shower shoes. 4 poster bed king size, floor to ceiling mirrors on both sides, red flocked wallpaper and gharish red carpet. Our room was on the 1st floor, quite spacious.

Bread lame technique11/23/2023 The sources said, however, that Tesla still had to make a call on what kind of gigapress to use if it decides to cast the underbody in one piece - and that choice would also dictate how complex the car frame would be. That would make sense to do in one piece," one person said. "It's like a boat in a way, a battery tray with small wings attached to both ends. The kind of small cars Tesla is developing – one for personal use and the other a robotaxi – don't have a big "overhang" at the front and the back, as there is not much of a hood or rear trunk. The sources said Tesla's upcoming small car has given it a perfect opportunity to cast an EV platform in one piece, mainly because its underbody is simpler, And once Tesla is happy with the prototype mold, it can then invest in a final metal one for mass production. The casting specialists overcame that by formulating special alloys, fine-tuning the molten alloy cooling process, and also coming up with an after-production heat treatment, three of the sources said. The aluminium alloys used to produce the castings behaved differently in sand and metal molds and often failed to meet Tesla's criteria for crashworthiness and other attributes. Once the part has been cast, the sand is removed to leave the voids.īut despite that greater flexibility achieved in both the design process and the complexity of the large frames, there was still one more major hurdle to clear. To cast subframes with hollows as part of one gigacasting, Tesla plans to place solid sand cores printed by the binder jets within the overall mold. At the moment, they are made by stamping and welding multiple parts together leaving a void in the middle. The subframes in a car underbody are typically hollow to save weight and improve crashworthiness. The design validation cycle using sand casting only takes to two to three months, two of the sources said, compared with anywhere from six months to a year for metal mold prototypes. That means Tesla can tweak prototypes as many times as needed, reprinting a new one in a matter of hours using machines from companies such as Desktop Metal (DM.N) and its unit ExOne. Using a digital design file, printers known as binder jets deposit a liquid binding agent onto a thin layer of sand and gradually build a mold, layer by layer, that can die cast molten alloys.Īccording to one source, the cost of the design validation process with sand casting, even with multiple versions, is minimal - just 3% of doing the same with a metal prototype. To overcome the obstacles, Tesla turned to firms that make test molds out of industrial sand with 3D printers. That has been deemed prohibitive by automakers - especially as a design might need half a dozen tweaks or more to achieve a perfect die from the perspective of noise and vibration, fit and finish, ergonomics and crashworthiness, the sources said.īut Musk's vision from the start was to find a way to cast the underbody in one piece, despite the risks, the sources said. Another said the whole design process for a large metal mold would typically cost about $4 million. Once a large metal test mold has been made, machining tweaks during the design process could cost $100,000 a go, or redoing the mold altogether might come to $1.5 million, according to one casting specialist. So far, automakers have shied away from casting ever-bigger structures because of the "gigacast dilemma": creating molds to make parts of 1.5 metres squared or more boosts efficiency but is expensive and comes with myriad risks. All spoke to Reuters on condition of anonymity because they are not authorised to speak to the media. In both cases the innovations, developed by design and casting specialists in Britain, Germany, Japan and the United States, involve 3D printing and industrial sand, the five people said. The breakthrough Tesla has made centres on the how the giant molds for such a large part are designed and tested for mass production, and how casts can incorporate hollow subframes with internal ribs to cut weight and boost crashworthiness. Neither Tesla nor Musk responded to questions from Reuters for this story. Tesla was expected to make a decision on whether to die cast the platform in one piece as soon as this month, three of the sources said, though even if they do press ahead the end product could change during the design validation process. The five people said a single large frame - combining the front and rear sections with the middle underbody where the battery is housed - could be used in Tesla's small EV which it aims to launch with a price tag of $25,000 by the middle of the decade.

A discovery of witches season 2 amc11/23/2023 Other than that gripe (and the future recast), I liked the show and I’m looking forward for S2. If that’s confusing, here is the official weekly rollout schedule of A. Here they must find a powerful witch teacher to help Diana control her magic. Matthew and Diana are hiding in time in the fascinating and treacherous world of Elizabethan London. It aired one day later on Saturday Januin the USA through Sundance Now and Shudder and ended on March 13, 2021. And if it actually turns out that that scene never even happened in the novels then I’m going to be even more confused as to why the creators went in that direction in the first place… Taylor Swift Fans Crash AMC App In Rush To Buy Tickets To Big-Screen Showing Of Her Historic ‘Eras Tour’. That means the official series finale of A Discovery of Witches will air on Sundance Now, Shudder, and AMC+ on Feburary 19. Season 2 of A Discovery of Witches premiered on Friday Januin the UK on Sky One. It didn’t feel like a natural progression. We pick up right where we left off in Season 1, by following Matthew and Diane as they time walk back to Elizabethan London. The ten episode season is filled with new powers, new characters, increasing interspecies conflict, love, lust, and murder. 24 include extra behind-the-scenes material with cast and producers and Deborah Harkness, author of the All Souls book. I agree that there were signs that Lestat was being a little toxic up until that point, but the way they went about showing who Lestat “truly is” in that episode felt way ott and a little too “cartoon villain” for me. Theres so much to look forward to in Season 2 of A Discovery of Witches. The AMC linear channel will air Season 1 episodes as a marathon on Jan. A Discovery of Witches Season 2 will premiere on Sundance Now, Shudder and AMC+ on January 9, one day after the series UK Premiere. I don’t mind seeing toxic relationships being explored in tv (if it’s established at the beginning that that is what the show is trying to represent and not condone, that is), but what happened in episode 5, to me, felt like it came out of left field (it terms of character/relationship development) and felt a little “forced” and preachy, like the creators were really “determined” for fans not to like their relationship in any way shame or form. Correct me if I’m wrong but in the novels, Lestat never actually physically assaulted Louis, right? (I haven’t read the novels). |
